Unrepentent March 20, 2014

At this point, I started a completely new journal about the activities of our office that had little or nothing to do with our poet – which ran up to the point when I left the publication in 2018-18, after which I reabsorbed any journals about our office into may main journal.

But I kept writing the journal about our poet until around 2016, and still maintain the daily poetry journal, although not all of the poetry journal after 2016 was related to her.

I will not post anything from the publication journal here unless it has some connection to our poet.is point, I started a completely new journal about the activities of our office that had little or nothing to do with our poet – which ran up to the point when I left the publication in 2018-18, after which I reabsorbed any journals about our office into may main journal.

with this being the day of spring's official start, our poet makes ready to re-enter society

But this is not a reformed poet and she returns to her old haunts with the fundamental problems unresolved

She is saddled with an unabashed sense of entitlement which will fuel all the other problems in her life

she seeks to greatness and wealth but that her hard work at meaningless jobs is the main reason for her constant falling back into eating disorders

how much of this her therapist picked up on is hard to say. they clearly see her need to leave now as flight from dealing with the fundamental disorder.

we get from her essays that she making the case that she should be allowed to leave. Indeed, her last essay suggested that someone else has I say whether she can come or go and the same someone may be the real reason our poet agreed to go in the first place

this is someone who holds something over her head most likely her grandmother who is paying the freight for all this therapy and demanded that she get real cure this time rather than all the temporary fixes she's engaged with prior to this

our poet tried to get away with only a two-week stay and reluctantly agreed to 6 weeks stay when the minimum recommended stays 3 months

Her 6-week stay also shows a truncated version of her cure pattern or job or School pattern in that she leaps into the effort very gung ho at first and then at some point she begins to falter and then fails as the project proves too difficult or she does not get the reward she wants quickly enough.

her last three essays differ sharply from earlier ones and seem more focused on convincing management of something while she breaks the food rules. she lashed out at another patient or why she is ready to go back into the real world

our poets arguments in this last work are particularly weak, noting that she has real life experience on her own, while other women in the program do not have it

and all that she has not needed medicine to sleep or poop for 2 days when she has relied on them for two decades prior to her stay at the clinic

the logic may work on the people as gullible as our temporary boss or our gossip at the paper but you have to think the therapist at the clinic are a bit more savvy and see these arguments as symptoms of an unrepentant person rather than someone on her way to a cure

the big question is what will they report to the person who is paying for our poets stay and will they recommend her release or not one also has to wonder how much weight they have over the poet who already tried to bolt once when she first got there will she leave anyway if the doctors recommend a few more weeks in house therapy
