Thomas Manzo, 59, of Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, was
convicted after a two and a half week trial before U.S. District Judge Susan D.
Wigenton in Newark federal court on one count of committing a violent crime in
aid of racketeering activity, one count of conspiracy to commit a violent crime
in aid of racketeering resulting in serious bodily injury, and one count of
falsifying and concealing documents related to a federal investigation.
“Thomas Manzo hired a soldier in the Lucchese Crime Family
to carry out a vicious assault on his ex-wife’s then-boyfriend, causing the
victim to suffer significant injuries,” U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger said.
“As a unanimous jury found, Manzo committed multiple offenses by providing a
free wedding in exchange for the assault and then concealing documents relating
to that wedding. He will now face just punishment for his crimes
Manzo was somebody that our poet apparently knew back in the
days when she worked for us
At least, that was what our editor said explaining why week
after week we would see briefs about the show.
These briefs frequently became the most read items on our website,
and raised my suspicions that she might be deliberately spiking the numbers,
part of that insane competition back then when I came believe she was
artificially pumping up and became part of that up one ship that eventually the
owner put a stop to when we both kept boosting our numbers to be number one.
When I asked the editor about this particular group of
stories she told me that our poet was a personal friend of the manzo brothers,
one of whom went on to hire mobsters to beat up the boyfriend of his ex-wife.
While their head always been rumor that there was a
connection between the manso brothers and the mob it was until this week’s conviction
that it became clear they were directly connected.
This also possibly sheds a whole different light back on A
and her connection to the godfather Mike Sciara,
At the time, I had assumed that our poet was a fringe person,
somebody who was not really deeply involved with the mafia activities that R
and some of the other hometown boys were involved in
According to the office gossip back the, the manzo brothers were
going to give the poet her big break in media whether acting or whatever.
This raises questions as to how connected issues since her
family has a history of being connected and whether or not her pumping up the
numbers for those synopsises of Real Housewives was to done to impress the
manzos and to show that she was a good soldier in getting these things posted
All this, of course, is extremely speculative in a sense
that she may still have been Fringe in all of these brushes with the mob may
have been accidental after all
but as I pointed out in some earlier journals from back then
I'm not a big believer in coincidence and believe where there is smoke there is
generally fire
the synchronicity of course of my posting about a and her
connection and the charges against manzo may be a little too coincidental too
though this whole journey through journals has brought out a lot of odd
coincidences over those years. Not say that she got mobbed up with the manzo's
back then but in retrospect it certainly suggests she might have, and she was
still in the neighborhood when – in 2015 -- Manzo hired Lucchese Crime Family
soldier John Perna to assault his ex-wife’s then-boyfriend in exchange for a
free wedding reception for Perna held at an upscale venue Manzo owned.
Perna, who is a “made man” in the Lucchese Crime Family with
his own crew, worked with his associates to plan and carry out the violent
assault, which took place on July 18, 2015. In exchange for committing the
assault, Perna held a lavish wedding reception at Manzo’s venue for free.
During the investigation of the assault, Manzo concealed and falsified
documents related to the Perna wedding in response to a grand jury subpoena.
Did our poet know back then what was going on? This was several
years after the told the Small Man that she would soon be on TV. Was that a promise
given her by the Manzo Brothers, and what did she do for them in return.
If anything.
