Karmic justice (2014)

Everything is in limbo

That space nuns say

In-between heaven and hell

Where we all wait

For fate to decide

Which way we

Ought to go

Karmic Justice

Measured by

How much good we do

Or bad,

Like the holding cell

I spent three days in

Waiting to see

If I could make bail,

This time, it’s her jail,

Not mine,

Self-imposed,

Sending her off to

The Sunshine state

To rehabilitate,

Reboot.

Start over

With a blank page.

Will she ever come back,

Or some back so different

Another person,

Or will she settle into

Yet another shell,

For some fool like me

To fall in love with.
