I might have escaped unscathed had only I in her beauty
bathed, since she shines in a world where much beauty bequeathed, and her might
easily hid beneath, but what for I heard in her heavenly voice, defeated me and
left me no choice, a song so sweet and tempting be, I could not turn away or
even flee, but stood transfixed to her heart so bound, shaken to my soul by
that amazing sound. Dare I turn myself away when her tune makes my throbbing
heart sing? I am no sailor to be tied to mast, to listen and avoid to the
depths be cast. Who could be so completely immune, when confronted by her
heavenly tune? I might have if wiser made escape, and yet I know down deep it
would have been a dreadful mistake, doomed to be doomed,
