Riverboat Gambler

Tom tells me
He never knows
The game
Until he sees
Who the players are.
Me?
I’m always blaming
The wrong people,
That sucker
At the card table
Where everybody
Cheats but me,
Looking up the sleeves
Of the waitress
For aces
When she delivers
Me my drinks,
And no mater
How much I
Apologize later
I’m so broke
From gambling
I can’t even
Leave the tip
