I watch you move
Each step flowing
Like an erotic, exotic dance
That carves out the air
Around you
The way Ancient Egyptians
Carved it out in stone,
You carrying a mystery
As mysterious
As the Sphinx,
Awing even great men
Like Alexander or Napoleon
And ordinary men
Like me,
Your movement
Your dance, your
shape
Humble us, humble me
As I watch,
Lost in the haze of your passing
Your face, your breasts, your hips
Your legs
All so fluid as to make me believe
We are in a dream,
A dream from which
I never wish to wake
