Someone who can't read my handwriting asked why I insist on scanning some pages while typing in others. First, I consider the journal entries that are typed the most important contribution to this blog. The poetry notebooks aren't as complete or well-written and so less important. Secondly, I have literally hundreds of thousands of handwritten, typewritten or printed out dot matrix pages going back more than 60 years which need to be typed in -- maybe 100 novels, more than a 1,000 short stories.
